Appointment Policy

To schedule your first hair care appointment, you must call first to schedule your visit at (334)262-3972. We require a prepaid NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $25 when you schedule this first visit. It is important to note when you schedule an appointment, YOUR CARD WILL BE CHARGED IMMEDIATELY IN THE AMOUNT OF $25. PLEASE NOTE: Your deposit of $25 is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE, once you schedule your appointment. 

A 24 hour notice is mandatory to RESCHEDULE (not CANCEL) all appointments. You can reschedule only twice. If notice is not given within 24 hours to RESCHEDULE, you forfeit your $25 deposit and it’s not applicable to a new appointment.

Consultations are Required for New Clients

First-time consultations are $65 with any service! Your appointment deposit will credited toward your first-time consultation fee. If you would like to receive a service the same day of your consultation, please tell us when making your appointment. Without a service, consultations are $75.00. The Consultation is a session to exchange information. It is required for clients experiencing hair loss, wanting to permanent color, receive virgin relaxers, and retouch relaxers. After we gather your information and inform you of what service Options are available to you, YOU will make the Final decision about the service(s) you will be receiving on the day of your visit.

We ask that all clients please arrive on time. All appointments that are not honored within 15 minutes of your appointment time with no notification of a late arrival may be canceled, and deposits forfeited. Our waiting area is limited and can accommodate our clients only. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing additional persons besides yourself to wait for you while you’re being serviced. Young children being serviced should have a parent present.

YOU MUST CALL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR DEPOSIT.

This salon is strictly by appointment only. We ask that you please be considerate of other customers, and do not come to the salon without an appointment. We will not be able to accommodate anyone without an appointment.

First-time clients are seen on Tuesdays, between 9:00 am – 11:00 am and, Wednesdays between the hours of 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. First-time client appointments fill quickly. The probability of getting an appointment in the same month you call is rare. New clients should expect a wait of at least 30 days, for the next available first-time appointment.

We know that your time is Valuable. I strive to remain on schedule for all of your appointments. In order to keep Amelia Salon from over booking – No Call, No Show, No Cancellation and over 15 minutes late appointments, are no longer acceptable.

  1. You may cancel your appointment without charge any time before the close of business on the business day preceding your appointment. The close of business is 5:00 p.m Tuesday-Friday and Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
  2. Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price, which will be ADDED to your next service.
  3. If you do not call to cancel your appointment and do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be REQUIRED to pay a $25 deposit for any future appointments with Amelia Salon.
